Sunrise Child Development Center - We encourage children to maximize their potential and develop at their own pace through well-planned developmental guidelines which meet each child's individual needs. We offer preschool programs, elemetary school programs and intermediate school programs to children in the Garden Grove Unified School District in Orange County, California

	Sunrise Programs We welcome and encourage parent involvement throughout the Sunrise program. Classrooms and playgrounds are always open for observation and participation. Feel free to join your child for lunch or story time. We also encourage you to help the teachers with special centers, field trips, party days, etc. and to share with the children any special interests or hobbies you have. We appreciate your participation and ask that you coordinate your efforts with your child's teacher. The opportunities for parent involvement are endless!

	Summer Day Camp Summer time day camp is fun-filled with experiences that include a program of planned weekly activities. These activities center around creative themes including various art mediums, music, water play, picnics, games, stories, swimming, and lots of movement and laughter.

	We offer a variety of programs to fit the needs of our families. Programs include full and half day enrollment in our preschool program, before and after school-age care with van transportation for K-6th grade children and special summer programs. Our preschool offers field trips, guest speakers, parent/teacher conferences, special holiday events and birthday celebrations. Optional programs that may be included in your child's preschool or school-age care program are: piano, computer, gymnastics, dance, swimming lessons and more. Childhood is fun! It is an important time for experimentation, exploration and discovery.

	Conferences are scheduled yearly. They may be requested more often by either parent or teacher. We encourage close interaction between parents and teachers, and parents are always welcome in the classroom. If you ever have any questions about your child's progress, feel free to talk with your child's teacher or the Sunrise School Director.
